Eleven innocent people were murdered. Unfortunately, we’re becoming desensitized and even unsurprised at bigoted acts of violence in this country. Whether its charged by anti-Semitism, racism, or political extremism (the recent pipe bombs), violence is pervasive in the United States. We need to discuss.
We’ll discuss how the sharply divisive, partisan situation surrounding Judge Kavanaugh is symptomatic of our current political climate. Both sides of the aisle are at fault and we need to talk about the increasing politicization of the Supreme Court and its implications.
This will be our last meeting of the school year.
8:15-8:55 in Mr. Peck's room.
Hope to see you there!
